Frequently Asked Questions
I died and lost all my souls. Can I get them back?
No. When you die, your soul counter is reset to zero. However, items in your inventory (including consumable soul items and metal bars) are dropped at your death location – you can go back and pick those up.
How do I get more Estus charges?
Kindle your bonfire. Each kindle level adds 5 Estus charges, up to a maximum of 20 at kindle level 3. Kindling costs 1 Humanity per level and you must be in human form (not hollow).
How do I stop being hollow?
Rest at a bonfire and select Reverse Hollowing. This costs Humanity. See Death & Hollowing.
Can I teleport between bonfires?
Not directly. You can use a Homeward Bone to teleport to the last bonfire you rested at. The /warp system is separate and requires server permissions.
My Estus Flask says “Empty” – how do I refill it?
Rest at any bonfire. Your Estus Flask is automatically recharged to full capacity when you interact with a bonfire.
Do I keep my Estus Flask when I die?
Yes. The Estus Flask does not drop on death.
What items drop on death?
Consumable soul items, Humanity Essence, Concentrated Humanity, Homeward Bones, and metal bars all drop at your death location. Your Estus Flask stays with you.
How do I upgrade my bonfire for better crafting?
Open the bonfire crafting menu and look for the bench upgrade option. Upgrading from Tier 1 to Tier 2 costs 1,500 souls, and Tier 2 to Tier 3 costs 5,000 souls. Higher tiers unlock more valuable metal bar recipes.
The HUD counters aren’t showing up
The HUD display requires the MultipleHUD mod to be installed on the server. Without it, HUD elements won’t appear, but you can still use /soulcount and /humanitycount to check your totals.
Can I change where the HUD appears on screen?
Yes. Use /soulhudpos and /humanityhudpos to reposition them. See HUD Customization.
